Conor McPherson

Conor McPherson is probably still best known for his non-comic play The Weir, which had very successful runs in London, New York, and many other places. His other successful and award-winning plays include This Lime-tree Bower, St. Nicholas, The Good Thief, Port Authority, Rum and Vodka, and Dublin Carol. In addition to writing the original screenplay for I Went Down, he has since written and directed two other comic films, Saltwater and The Actors. He also directed the fine version of Beckett's Endgame in the Beckett on Film series.
