Reyna Grande is the author of the bestselling memoir, The Distance Between Us, which was named a Finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.

Her other books include the novels Across a Hundred Mountains, winner of a 2007 American Book Award, and Dancing with Butterflies, as well as The Distance Between Us, Young Reader’s Version.

Catherine Chung has published two acclaimed novels Forgotten Country and The Tenth Muse as well as stories and essays in The New York Times, The Rumpus, Granta, and elsewhere.

She received her MFA from Cornell and is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and a Director’s Visitorship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. She was a Granta New Voice, and was longlisted for the PEN/Hemingway Award. She's a former fiction editor at Guernica Magazine.
